Information
The Sims Kennel Club was founded in July 2012 with one main goal: To bring realistic canine breed standards and dog shows to the online Sims 3 Community. Not the first of it’s kind, we intended to allow simmers with a passion for dogs to come together, show off the beautiful and unique dogs their Sims own, compete within a friendly community and, ultimately, get to know people with similar ideas and interests.
Over the last lot of months our community has continued to grow and thrive, with plenty of members logging in daily to breed, trade, train and compete their dogs. We now intend to expand further, offering new ways of registering dogs and new goals and titles within our community.
Our community maintains a registry system, which is currently going through a small overhaul. We continue to encourage our members to hold Breed Clubs, which are in charge of registration of all shows, but who are also strongly encouraged to hold regular shows for their breed to really get the breeders and owners involved.
We are also proudly introducing our Breed Groups, which will soon come into play. Groups are run by one person, but unlike Breed Clubs will accept dogs from an array of breeds. While there is no club for a particular breed, the appropriate breed group will manage the registration of that breed. This leads to all dogs being eligible for acceptance at all times with no delay while there is no breed club.
